Love McMann but wouldnt call him young. He's turning 29 this year and likely doesnt have much more upside. Still a crucial player to have as he does have scoring and size and is the only one outside the top 6 to be able to provide reliable secondary scoring. I think him missing the playoffs last year is an under reported story as to why we did not advance.

calling mcmann young is a bit of a stretch, he is the same age as nylander

but it is nice having two different LW who are great offensively. This sorta reminds me of 2022 production wise from Bunting and Mikheyev. Mikheyev scored a ton on the third line and bunting was actually really good that year. The thing that's better is Mcmann is just a much more physcial and better shot than mikheyev and knies is a proper power forward vs a rat like bunting.

I need to see McMann score against good teams. A lot of his goals have come against the not so great teams in the league.
Not true - Pretty well distributed vs good and bad teams, maybe even leaning towards the better teams. That said, no way he’s in the same breathe as Knies, but perfect for 3rd line and not bad for 2nd line. Dude definitely has a nice shot 👍
