  • Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. Nash can't even score on a wide open empty net. He had the chance to double his playoff goals and missed. I would rather keep Richards and his contract than Nash and his contract. At least Richie shows up for the playoffs. Nash Hank and Richie are all payed a lot, two of them show up when it counts.

Lol, at this point, I'd really consider using the compliance buyout on Nash instead of Richards.
 
My players of the series:

Brassard with 4 goals and an assist
Lundqvist with a .940 SV% (.971 in the last 3 games combined)
Dom Moore with his constant energy, great plays and getting into the heads of the Penguins
 
I kind of think having New York Rangers around is good for NHL ratings.
My own thought was that the NHL would love a NYR - LA Kings SCF.

Oh, trust me, this is a big part of it. Nothing screams attention ***** more on the NYR board than bashing Lundqvist. They know what they're doing. So edgy.

The logic surrounding the buyouts was always the fact that Nash is tradeable. Younger, better player on a shorter contract. Richards is signed up until 2020. He's a good guy, he tries and he shows up, but I don't think anyone wants that much Brad Richards considering how bad his game was last year.

If he signs for a random rebuilding team to be the "old guy" I'll cheer them on, though, I like Brad a lot
 
I just laid a smackdown on my hockey pool. Nobody else out of 15 people picked the Rangers here. just Me.

it's not just monetary gain, it's seeing all the Penguins boosters with blank looks on their faces.
