We Can Do Better!

I've done a lot of thinking about what I said earlier in this thread, and I'm really starting to believe that obviously I try to give my all, but it just isn't good enough. I need to be better. We all need to be better. As leaders of this fan base there is no other option but to be better. When you post on the hf boards you need to give it your all and I haven't been doing that. I'm too friendly. I try to empathize rather than antagonize. My communication skills are hurting everyone here, and it's up to me to improve them by being more bullheaded and irrational with my opinions. There's only one way to win as a fan: you need to always be right, even if you're wrong. So I'm gonna really take a hard look at myself and see how I can do that, because if I don't, I'm just not very good at being a fan.

I'm the poster on this team that has mentally checked out for at least four months. I have to say, I'm really happy with how everyone's stepped up in response to this call for better posting. We've still got to be better, and we have a long way to go, but already we've gotten Mittelstadt and Borgen to sign ELCs.

You have to post within yourself. Stay within the system. If special characters are beyond your skill level don't try to post them. Trust in the system.
