In fairness, Alex Steen had a ton of promise at the time and not wanting to give him up was understandable.

The Rask trade, on the other hand, was 100% indefensible. Way worse than the Kessel trade and I stand by that.

Columbus and the Browns, Jets are in the same territory, but the Leafs have done less with more than any other. Other than the two Pat eras it’s been a hideous joke.

very dumb the last 4 or 5 years. We had a very young core 4, they would be at the top of their game for at least 10 years but we had to trade away draft picks and go for it. lol. Could have just kept drafting and we’d be looking a lot better. Our window was long there was no need for the big rush of this is our year.
