Skinner gets the shut out, start of the redemption? Let's hope so. We're all wanting them to succeed and it can only happen if the goalies, whomever is in net, makes the saves when needed. I've been extremely critical of him but let's sincerely hope he recovers whatever mojo he can muster and gut things out. Having both goalies dialled in would be amazing.
They were all over them tonight from the puck drop, game faces on and ready. Great active sticks, guys were on them within a couple of seconds of possession and had lots of defensive and puck support. They won nearly all the battles on the ice and along the boards, and hit like crazy. Pretty masterful work when they are all engaged defensively and play a responsible, detailed game.
Put these clowns to bed back in their barn, let's lock this down and let our guys heal up as much as they can before the next round.
