It's too late. The trick was to give him a bad childhood for the most part, but go all out on game days so he associated the Bills with the few good times in a bleak existence! You were too good of a parent!Boys, my son has gone woke! He's a huge Chiefs fan now. I'm sure it's all that swifty propaganda that got to him. Every time we play football, he needs to be the Chiefs, and I need to be some lowly team that gets their ass kicked. It hurts my heart. I never thought my son would be one of 'them'.
My question is- how do I change him? Is conversion therapy still legal? Should I kick him out of the house? He's only 5, but the Spartans did worse, no? I don't know what to do. I never thought MY FAMILY would have to deal with this. I thought I'd love him no matter what, but this may be too far. Gosh darn it! Why does red have to be his favorite color?!

So glad they got that man a playoff game before he retired. Wish it could have been more than just the one. This video makes me want to tackle somebody. Preferably Tom Brady.
That lockerroom scene is still probably my favorite moment of the McDermott era.So glad they got that man a playoff game before he retired. Wish it could have been more than just the one.
I held it together for the most part but just openly started crying in the bar when they showed the vid of him in the locker roomSo glad they got that man a playoff game before he retired. Wish it could have been more than just the one.
I know y'all are already all over this point, but it's just shitty that the same justifications for Lamar last year are now being used against Josh this year. Last year Josh had clearly the better stats but Lamar had the better team record and "did more with less." It's comical that it's basically flipped this year on top of the fact plenty of folks thought this would be a down year for the Bills and now the argument is "wow, look at Lamar's stats, how can you vote against that?"2024 NFL All-Pro Team: See who made the roster

Allen gets 2nd team All-Pro, no other Bills named to the team.
Probably means Jackson should be the favorite for MVP, though it's not a slam dunk, we shall see how voters judge the "valuable" aspect.
But I find it telling that the Bills have only 1 All-Pro, 2 Pro Bowlers, a coach that is never considered at the top of any coaching rankings and, both within and outside the fanbase, is continually subject to "should be on the hotseat" talk...and this team year in and year out continues to win games. It's like voodoo or something...
Allen is still the betting favorite, no? He still had a good shot if that's the case. 72024 NFL All-Pro Team: See who made the roster

Allen had wayyy too many TOs last year to win it, imo. Last year was just a down year in general. One of the weaker MVP races in recent memory.I know y'all are already all over this point, but it's just shitty that the same justifications for Lamar last year are now being used against Josh this year. Last year Josh had clearly the better stats but Lamar had the better team record and "did more with less." Lamar's stats are better, but he played more meaningful time than Josh (literally a full game if not more) and is surrounded by pro bowlers including at WR and RB. And they had a worse record.
I listened to a podcaster this week saying he didn't want to be "swayed by the narrative" of it being Josh's year. But "narrative" factors into awards all the time. Hell, Coach of the Year is almost always a 100% narrative driven award. (i.e. We thought you would suck, but you didn't). Same guy said maybe if the Bills were the #1 seed, he'd vote Josh but them not getting that has very little to do with the actual Bills and everything to do with the Chiefs' ridiculous voodoo luck.
Lamar is obviously a worthy MVP choice last year and this year.
It's just the inconsistency that irritates me.
Hope Josh and the team internalizes all this disrespect through the playoffs.
Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.
