Don't think Zadorov is going to see too much McDavid. That is probably going to be left to Hughes & Hronek.

Canucks are far better off to use Zadorov (and Lindholm) to attack Edmonton's depth.

That's a concern because of team playstyle. The Kings are more effective at slowing down the game and stopping the Canucks from entering the neutral zone with speed, something they love to do.

The Oilers don't care and would rather run and gun, which the Canucks are happy to contend with.

I think Oilers fans, vegas and many analysts will be in shock once Canucks play very well in the first game in Vancouver against Oilers. Vancouver has some offense, it was just blocked by Nashville shot blockers and pass blockers. I dont see Edmonton D playing anywhere near the stifling defense Preds played.

One big caveat to this chart is that the Predators played 37 minutes on the power play to the Canucks' 21 minutes. That factor more than accounts for the difference in O-Zone possession time, which is shown for all situations here.

Please have zadorov match up against McDavid this series. That should have the same effect as sending Reeves out to "punish" any opposing first line.
