Hronek is a nothing player. Doesn't do much offensively, and can't clear the puck in his own zone. He's the kind of guy to rack up points on a bad team, not someone you win with.

His professed offensive upside got totally debunked in the second half of the season and playoffs.

Still a decent passer and skater, but not notably creative or dynamic. Hard to argue he's worth more than a second pairing salary right now.

Like he has played so well but him making a bad decision is basically an inevitability.

If we go up 2-0 and McDavid basically doesn't score in both games, that completely changes the complexion of the series. Now it's on the verge of being a split and they got a ton of momentum after that goal.
