That’s not true. Oilers brought their A game, even after the first but couldn’t match as they elevated their play.

They won the 50/50 battles, outhit us, controlled possession.
That’s not true.

Oilers were there for the taking in the 1st and the team was utter shit.

Oilers dominated the 2nd but only because the Nucks looked like they were asleep.

The only positive the whole game was killing the 5 on 3 to keep it somewhat close at the time.

One team going to work while the other team was playing for its life, guess who won?

Tocchet should teach in contrast: Game 5: Breakout supported; Game 6 Breakout unsupported. That's the difference.

Radio calling out battle effort. VAN knows what to do, they just didn't want it and EDM did.

Millers line struggling as much as it did really gave the team no chance of winning. I think the other 3 lines played pretty well all things considered. Hoglander-Lindholm-Pettersson had some good shifts and the only goal, and the bottom 6 played fine. Miller seemed slow, lethargic, and checked out after the first.

If Miller and Hughes suck we’re tanked without Demko. Pettersson’s line was probably our best, but that’s not saying much.

This Canucks team is so damn impressive.

Game 7 in round 2. amazing.
And they've been both tough and lucky to get here. They've legitimately won what, 4? 5? Games they had absolutely no business winning? *Thats* impressive, and they should be proud of everything theyve accomplished, especially after losing Demko. They have a lot to improve on, but they've shown that they're clutch and have a winning mentality to move on with. They're made of different stuff than Toronto, which should reassure every Canucks fan cheering for this core to win it all.

Well the good news is that Silovs picked the right game to have his weakest game in the series since it wouldn't have mattered what he did what with us having 10 shots through 50 odd minutes. Naturally we had a brief flurry of actual talent on display which goosed the shot total to 17 or whatever but this team was dogshit tonight.

What does that matter? He did his job, nobody should be discussing skinner after this game.
Skinner gave up very few rebounds and made a really excellent blocker save on Hughes across the grain on the 5 on 3. Probably the game-winning save all things considered. 1 goal game with the momentum going the Canucks way going into the 3rd could have played out very different.

played like the team was going to be under attack all game. Coached not to lose and never generated anything.

Game 7 Monday. Don't play like you are inferior. Go and put them away.
