If there is anyone that can do it it's the Canucks.Feels like the deck is already stacking against us for Game 4 - perfect time for the Canucks to pull one of those “against all odds” victories out of the hat.
Maybe, according to an Edmonton radio show they didn't get any calls regarding the incident at all.So General Zad got 5k fine.
Then yeah, Soucy getting at least 2 games, guaranteed.
Okay let's go "conspiracy". They won't get the same media coverage because Vancouver doesn't have McDavid to draw viewership. It's good for marketing if Edmonton is playing.Got to protect McBaby.
Total BS cause if it was against the Canucks, nothing would happen.
Hmmm...... that makes a 12 gamer for a fair second suspension the next step for sure. Ya...right!This is about what I think will happen as well.
Soucy has 1 previous suspension in his history - in 2021 for a high hit on Conor Garland, for which he received 1 game.
IF that's the way he gets in McD and Dras better keep their head up because he will be expendable. AND he can hit really hard.In juulson we trust
Why 2 -2? If they give Soucy a suspension it might have boomerang effect and the team actually steps it up to another level.I can live with 1 game suspension, and come home with a split 2-2.
Ya, McD broke Soucy's hand.I'd love if Tocchet trolls the league office after they announce a 1 game suspension and be like "yeah, Carson would've been too hurt to play Game 4 anyway."

Juulsen can hit and leave a bruise. he doesn't have to chase them down, they stop to make plays.Eh, his absence is definitely going to hurt the team though.
No way, if that was the case then go with Pettersson, he was a shutdown guy for Sweden and did great. Or Wolanin, he would embrace a chance. There are others as well. For one game and 7 minutes go with the nastiest. Just can't play Cole and Juulsen together unless Tocchet reduces both ice time and make them more PK specialists. That would mean Myers and Zadorov have to eat an additional 3 minutes each.I'd prefer Friedman
This is just … not a suspension.
There is literally zero precedent for any sort of suspension here. It’s not a suspension in the regular season, and it’s certainly not a suspension in the playoffs. Like, last year Jamie Benn got two games for literally intentionally cross-checking a guy in the face.
- Zero injury suffered on the play.
- No intent of actually hitting him in the head/neck – was clearly intended for the chest and a late movement caused by another hit caused McBaby to drop into the stick. Late movement is a mitigating factor as per the rulebook.
- McBaby instigated the situation with the two-handed slash after the whistle, which again is mitigation.
The only reason this is on the radar is because of the player who was hit, which is insane. If that was Derek Ryan, it would be the same thing as the Hoglander spear. Nobody would give a shit, there would be zero supplemental discipline.
Also Zadorov getting fined but McDavid not getting fined is just absurd.
13 years later and we’re going to get Aaron Rome’d again. Absolutely f***ing infuriating. Just like 2011 too where the other team is the team throwing literally 90% of the marginal/dangerous hits and then one borderline thing we do gets somehow singled out and over-punished.
I'm old enough to remember when The Pauser would start proposing dumping the Sedins to free up room to sign Camalleri and Jokinen. Your takes on Pettersson remind me of that.Suter -JT - Brock

Go both and scratch Lafferty. 4th line wasn't too good yesterday.
Yeah this hasn't been remarked upon enough. Lafferty is not having a good playoffs - go out and hit some guys! His physicality hasn't been noticeable at all.
Would happily to 11F/7D.
