You know, I've come to terms with the fact that the Kings aren't going to repeat this year, but for the love of god, at least get past the Sharks. I want them to be as miserable as we're going to feel once we bow out, maybe even more since they still haven't won a Cup.

I am just amazed at how Mike Richards continues to get quality minutes. Kopitar is invisible again. Can't win games if your supposed top guys aren't scoring. I wish we could play that Penner-Lewis-Toffoli line all game, how great would that be? Top line for the Kings tonight no doubt.

He gets top minutes because sometimes he is the best player on the ice. Then he has games like this. I challenge Kings fans to find me a more inconsistent player from game to game than MRichards, I can go back almost 25 years and can't think of one. Frolov would look like an all-pro for 5 games and horrible for the next 5, lots of guys do that, never quite seen anyone who does what MR does from a game to game basis.

He'll probably be the best player on the ice in game 5 and no-show again game 6 or 7.

Now my question is, were the last 5 minutes of the 2nd a sign of finally figuring out the Sharks' pressure or the Sharks just took a breather? We shall see.

The hitting picked up, Sharks players were paying a price to move the puck. It showed.

Need to make some serious adjustments but this series still has a lot of second chances coming up for us.

We just need to get one tonight to get our legs going again.

Dustin Brown, Justin Williams, and since about March, Anze Kopitar. They've all been just as wildly inconsistent performers.

Richards has been our best forward these playoffs, that's scary. Needs Penner back on that line.

The Kings have to break up the top line. Sutter was right when he did this the first time. They don't break it up, we're done.

Why does everyone keep pointing out Richards and Kopitar? How about all their wingers who are doing nothing to help them out? They're driving me nuts, but I still have yet to see any of our top wingers step up and put the puck in the net. It's like Rick and Kopi are responsible for everything that goes wrong on their line. The job of the center is to make plays and they can't do that if there's not a single guy out there with some open space.
