It'll take a miracle to kill this penalty given the length of the 5 on 3, but the momentum shift if we do will be insane.
 
Relax guys, the Sharks had to win this game, they just had too.

I am proud of the Kings for making it so close, still got a shot.

That is all you can ask.

Teams are not going to roll over and die on Home ice.

More interested in Game four.

Yes, I am seem to recall a Stanley Cup Final game where the Kings killed a full 2:00 5-on-3 in the first period and went on to win the game. It was game 3 last year, as I recall.

But don't hold me to that. My memory isn't what it used to be. ;)
 
Well, Kings, now's your chance to prove that you can do what the Sharks couldn't and kill off what should be a sure fire way to win. Kill the penalty and win this thing.
 
C'mon, guys, we're better than this. Stop *****ing about the calls -- Lewis and RR did stupid things given the time and score. The Kings had chances to score and haven't converted. Blame THEM, not the officials.

Anyone claiming that "the refs decided this game" is being just as much of a whiner as many of you accused the Sharks fans of being after Thursday night.

I'll say what I said then. Suck it up. True championship teams don't get knocked out by calls like this. If the Kings lose this series, it'll be because they lost four games - not because one of them was "given" to the Sharks. Put your big boy pants on and congratulate the Sharks for a win (if that happens in OT) and move on.

It's why the series are 7 games. Some games will be freakish one-offs that you just have to live with and move on. The cream eventually rises to the top. I felt like it would be a home ice series, although this would sure be a poop way to end this game.

Who knows, it's hockey, but San Jose has to have this in the bag.
 
This is quite a pickle the Kings are in to start this OT. Hope they get through it and go from there

Agree. They really have no one else to blame if they lose. Sharks knew their season was on the line, but the kings haven't played well.

A huge OT win by the kings tonight would be massively huge. Like universe big. :laugh:
 
one could only hope the Kings can get the Sharks into the penalty box...it could happen. maybe...cause at this point Kings look screwed
 
Regehr was hooking but on the replay you can also see the Sharks player has his hand clamped on Regehr's stick.
