2nd round of playoffs with a rookie goalie and 3 rookie Dmen who will only get better .. conference finals last season.

Not bad for McDavid.

Enjoy whatever is happening in nuck land.
Edmonton has officially won 1 more playoff round than Vancouver in the last few years. Congratulations!

This game is on Skinner.

Three stoppable goals.

Now is the time to throw Campbell in because there’s nothing left to lose.

I would have yanked skinner after the pop fly rebound, but he got to stay in long to enough to let in yet another goals.

Goals 1, 3 and 4 on Skinner were all stoppable. JOKE performance a JOKE playoffs.

This series is on Skinner as far am I’m concerned.
It is. But Skinner is a kid and has a future with the Oilers despite losing the elimination game for them. Having Jack Campbell's contract for next year is the major issue, regardless of what happens in round 2 for Edmonton.

Oilers fans won't ever admit it but going from Mike Smith to Skinner is a massive downgrade. Not even 41 year old Mike Smith would be this bad.
I admit it.

I loved Smith. I thought he was great when healthy. He caught off a lot shit from fans here because the D sucked. Go look at the oilers board. It's all in fighting and calling the team losers and blaming certain players for mistakes. I wouldn't really listen anything they say.

Smith was a general back there, he called the shots and moved his D around and gave commands. He is missed. if you go back far enough in my post history you'll find I had this opinion last year as well

They saw it was getting social media engagement so they showed it?

Why do they show the highlights of the Super Bowl even though everyone agrees on the score?
I watch this sport to watch the sport. Not to scrutinize every "close" officiating call that isn't a close call.

Getting social media engagement is not a good thing. Especially when you're just trying to fan the flames of fans harassing and sending threats to refs.

How dare TV cover something that people are talking about!

One guy came back +3 and the other -3, can't make that up.

I think it's a coaching thing. Their defense has been strong in the neutral zone and up high but when Vegas manages to get below the dots, that's where the trouble starts. I think that's as much a coaching thing as it is a roster quality issue.
They continually look for the break up and quick pass up the ice. Exact same thing with Tippet
