Mitchell may not be that big compared to Regehr, but he has that element of "Kronwall-ing" people potential! That and Mitchell is a more dynamic defender and is underated offensively. We really really miss him!

First pass, Mitchell's first pass is really good.

Kings miss that for sure..

But that's the deck the Kings are playing with this year.

Hope he is back next year for one more year.

He's probably pissed off. But, I'm not worried.. he's been the only reason the Kings are having any kind of playoff success. When he starts to not care that's when you can be worried.

Yes, he's been the anchor to our defense and the key to us winning, but that shouldn't mean that he can be undisciplined whenever he wants to does it?

20 coaches in here, with their line ideas and who to trade, who to sit, who's better than who, when. Easy being a coach with zero accountability.

Just relax.

It's a discussion board, what else are we supposed to do? Sutter isn't perfect and he's made some questionable decisions. When you lose, you try to think of ways they could be better. I get annoyed with things when I can't find a reason for them. I don't expect the coach to give me a call, but trying to find problems and the whys is better to me than just typing that we sucked over and over again.

Usually by the time a game is over I'm mad enough to flip some tables, but by about an hour after it I'm over it again. So I'm pretty relaxed right now.

Well I was glad to see Penner back where he belongs with Richards and Carter. King has no business being on the 2nd line, he's been absolutely useless. I think the Kings play better with their backs against the wall, I like their chances Thursday.

I need to see these :)

That punch was pretty funny. I don't know if he even looked at him. He just kind of casually punched him in the face

I'll worry about Quick when his temper actually starts leading to goals. Up until this point he hasn't given up anything that you can contribute to the Sharks being in his head. The Sharks goals have just been mostly congestion in front which every goalie is going to have difficulty with.

He provided the only quality entertainment tonight while the rest of team was sucking.

These crap starts in all of these games need to stop. The Kings better come out hitting everything that moves on Thursday night with discipline and a purpose. That means get the puck deep and pound on them.

Kopitar got to the net once, I think tonight. That's not good enough.

Fraser and King need to sit, Vey and Pearson would be more effective. That roughing Fraser took was one of the dumbest penalties I've seen all year. Martinez needs to be back in the lineup, there was no reason Muzzin should've missed that open net.

Don't kid yourself. As poorly as King has played, there is no way either Pearson or Vey could handle the minutes King plays in a playoff game.

Experience counts. King may play himself out of a job come training camp though.

Okay guys. Let's just move on. We've got this.

But let me ask those still upset a question first. What was Quick complaining about just before that? Contact with the goaltender. What is the best way to prevent contact with the goaltender? Quick whistles.

Not a conspiracy theory here. Just saying. Be careful what you ask for.

By this time last year Brown had 13 points in 10g.

Right now he has 3.

Williams/Kopitar same boat.

Man is their line killing the Kings this post season.

Sutter has his work cut out for him this time around. How to win rounds with Three of your top six not showing up...

Williams/Brown both had ZERO shots on net....Ughh.

Kopitar is at least starting to show life.

Certainly they played better against the Thornton line with Penner out there. Hopefully the line will stay intact for game 5.

Kopitar
Williams
Brown

All 3 have looked like ****.

What about going back to 7 defenders ?

That knocks minutes off everyone. Activate the D more as well.

Put A-Mart in as 7th.

That way you can shift Clifford/Richardson with a rotating door of vets.

You know what it is? Brown has looked good when he's had space. I think if kopitar gains speed on the blue line players would stop swarming the wingers. Kopitar isn't giving them space likes he's used to. I'm not saying kopitars bad it'sjust oour wingers on the first have no space and at the same time Kopitar has done nothing.

That can work, our defense really needs to be more offensive

Kopitar/Brown got many points on odd man rushes and breakaways in last years playoffs.

Kopitar has no speed. He is not carrying the puck up the ice. There is definitely something wrong with him. I do not foresee one breaking out in points without the other. Theres something up with Williams too.

Probably not a good idea, but would like to see Toffoli-Vey-Pearson on the 4th line. May be with the injuries piling up, it might be forced on Sutter soon. Might as well experiment in game 5 instead of game 7.

That would be my suggestion.

The sharks at one point were fore checking Four players...No joke, the Kings were that bad in the first.

I've noticed on our forechecks one player always hangs high, the sharks work all three to get the puck and then set up. Our forwards should all be by each other fighting for the puck. I don't like one forward hanging around
