They were lucky but at least there was no weak goals due to the goalie, that's all the Oilers need is the goalie not to give the game away.
That’s fair. Pikard had no chance on both and let in no muffins.

One of the better games of the playoffs. Gotta love Weekes' passion.

Pickard looked avg, but that's all they need. Again, not sure he can hold the fort for several games; he did what he needed to do.

I think it was don cherry who said
The aim for tonight wasn’t to win the game.

The aim is to compete, to minimize the damage on the PK ( the refs will call a ridiculous amount of penalties against the Canucks) and to hammer Drai every chance they get.

Losing the game just means it's a best of 3, great place to be for the underdog.

Winning would have been gravy.

Can’t believe we still almost brought it to OT while playing 2 minutes of hockey.

Oilers were definitely the better team so I’m shocked at how quiet the crowd was. Felt like a regular season game

Edmontons best game vs. Vancoucers worst and still only a 1 goal game. Onto game 5
Don’t want to play your best game in the playoffs, instead play like shit.

Imagine getting that goaltending from Silovs and still losing.

Oilers have to pray for one player on their roster to give them average play to win.

Canucks have to pray one player can play out of his mind again while the other 18 players give them average play.

A lot less has to go right for Edmonton to win.
