I'm confused. I've now heard the altitude isn't a problem for game 4 and is a problem for game 4. Which is it?
Keith Jones is an east coast dude never played in the west playoffs or in Co for a series (i'm 99% certain). You adapt to the air after a few days.

I have been really disappointed in Gambrell to be honest. You would think he would be a very viable option on our 4th line but I can't even argue that he has been better than Haley. Hopefully we can get Pavs and Donskoi back soon.

Needed to win that one. If Avs came back to win that game they could have ridden that momentum to the next round. Now Avs face some pressure to win game 4 while our boys hopefully keep doing what they did in the first couple periods (with more finish). Jones game has been very strong. Just keep playing hard and we win this series.

Feels like the Shark's really should have done better. They let Colorado back into this game. You'd like to see them convert on the PP...you'd like to see Kane deliver on the checks he is writing.

A win is a win but Sharks can do much better. Even in this series it feels like Colorado can make some adjustments and be very dangerous.

For sure. Seems like he is the beneficiary of the Sharks overvaluing him over Perron, True, or Suomela and he continues to drop the ball.

Hopefully it plays out like the announcers said.. the air affects the Sharks in the first game but not the second. When the Sharks had their wind, they were stomping on the Avs. Gotta keep up the solid play from the first half of the game

Tbf, Haley had a good game. Drew a penalty, made smart simple plays, had a couple takeaways, didn't lose his temper. If he could keep it up, he'd be at least an average 4th liner.

And so can the Sharks. I think Couture nailed it when he said that their forwards should be doing a better job forechecking the Avs D-men. We are it making it way too easy to skate into our own zone.

Oh I am not saying he was bad this game. Just that Haley being an upgrade on Gambrell on that 4th line is just disappointing for me because I expect more out of Gambrell.

They hit like 6 or 7 posts, it was inches from a blowout

The broadcast guys were really feeding into the momentum aspect of the home crowd tonight.

Pierre chiming in that he simply thinks Colorado was the higher energy team leading to the possession domination. Totally false. The Sharks, for whatever reason, sat a forechecker back in the neutral EVERY single zone entry. Zero forecheck, still outnumbered through the neutral, thus clean zone entries for Colorado. Not sure what Pierre was watching in that 3rd period. Also not sure what PDB was game planning for there. Clearly wasn’t a good plan of attack against the strong possession playmakers they have. Rants, Mac, Labdeskog, Soderberg feasted.
