I can't pretend to know anything about Coaching, and McLellan has improved our team a TON.

BUT... he always starts McDavid second on either the start of a game, period or powerplay. Kind of damn frustrating.

EDM can't clear the puck properly. Can't win a board battle. can't win face offs. doesn't know how to pressure and forecheck hard. I could go on and on.

With Fowler and Vatanen back the Ducks do have a mobile defence. Now they're just having their forwards fly the zone and hope their defence can avoid the forecheck.

It can work for a while, but eventually the holes become visible.
