Did you know soccer used to be a hard sport back int he day? Then the refeeres and the leagues let the players dive without consequences from the late 90s/early 00s and here we are now in 2025 and soccer players falls down from any small touch and the sport has been unwatchable for almost 20 years.

That's where hockey will be if it isn't nipped in the bud.

Making a false equivalence has no relevance. I'm all for the league being harsher on diving. But a stationary player reacting to a stick that they can't see come up from behind them at a high pace and hitting them is not a dive.
