I’d be an angry Canucks fan with the liberties taken on Hughes. Memories of the 2010 teams destroying the little dudes of the Oilers like Eberle and Gagner.

Grade A performance by Skinner.
If it weren't for the unforgivable goal at that bad angle it would have been a great night for him.

But it was unforgivable. It's more than a goal against. It's extra demoralizing. Luckily the guys persevered but if this becomes a common thing this playoffs the Oilers need to explore their options in the summer. He was bad vs Vegas last year too

If I had a nickel for every time the refs didn’t see a McDavid infraction.
Officiating has been bad on both sides. That high stick was brutal to miss
Go wan for fk sake he cut Hughes open. That was anyone but him they sit 4 mins
nobody is crying….. it was a BRUTAL missed call. Anyone will admit it. He’s just saying the refs have been horrible all around. There was 3 missed calls on the Canucks in the first. Officiating needs to be better

IT NEVER IS but it needs to be better.

Mcdiving should be getting about 2 or 3x the calls he actually receives, so if he steals a rare call it hasn't even made up for the 10-20 they ignored on him.

He tries his hardest but unfortunately for him the playoffs are a big boy game.

I said that tongue in cheek, realistically the officiating has missed calls pretty evenly both ways so far this series but tonight McDavid himself was definitely on the fortunate side of it.

McDavid has 15 assissts. Only 1 player had more than that all of last playoffs, Eichel had 20, Hintz was 2nd with 14. Hes unreal.
Draisaitl and McDavid have 1.66and 1,64 PPG in playoffs only behind Gretzky , both of them are playoff beasts , Oilers depth needs to start helping

No ones really taking liberties on him, nothing to be mad about. A missed double minor isn’t exactly taking liberties

Just imagine Skinner against a team like Colorado for 7 games. The Avs would destroy him in net and run him out of town. His confidence would forever be ruined.
