If you look at the situation Vilardi was just in , do you think things will evolve to where guys starrt to Michigan those pucks into the net over the goalie's pads ?

Nah. The dmen on that sequence wouldn’t get another shift all playoffs if they allowed Vilardi to lacrosse it there.

I think that in that situation, even if you have the skill to pull off such a move, the chance you'll screw it up (and possibly turn the puck over allowing the defending team to break it out of the zone) compared to your chances of eventually scoring if you make a different choice is such that choosing the latter is probably a higher percentage play. That's just my opinion though.

Good defenses and goaltending are just so hard to beat these days i would be thinking of all kinds of stuff to try and beat the game......

My thoughts are Dallas is a good team, the Blues are not. Dallas wants the puck and doesn't want to waste their time hitting.

100%. they act as if he went end to end 4 times in a row and didn't get a lucky bounce + empty net + free secondary PP assist
