I think there is a pretty big difference between making fun of a serious addiction that nearly ruined the life of him and his family recently and making fun of someones ill advised forays into social media from over a decade ago.
One is a light hearted jab with cat pictures about a topic that is trivial and somewhat universal. We might have posted different stupid embarrassing stuff as 18 year olds than Kane, but I'm sure everyone here has posted something they regret at some point.
The other is mean spiritedly attempting to kick someone while they're down from something that is serious in nature and recent.
It's the difference between say a movie like Scream compared to say A Human Centipede. Sure they're both horror movies, but that's where the similarities end.
Agree…in fact, I believe the Geneva Convention addresses this as a heinous attack on all our sensibilities!
