You want to see soft interference calls, watch the NFL. That was totally not a soft interference call.

It was, the effect of letting that go is the exact same as the players getting held up. It’s a zone entry eliminated and an easy clear with McDavid physically in the same area as other players in his position able to do the same thing they cN after


Also there was a clear interference allowed in the oilers zone like 20 seconds before the commercial break that allowed an easy recover for the oilers and an attempt to clear.


It’s pretty clearly inconsistent and could have set the tone of the game early.
