The Knights have big bodies and finesse players as spare parts like Carrier, Kessel, Barbashev, and Kolesar. Meanwhile Edmonton will need big series from McLeod, Kostin, Foegele to win.

Woodcroft was using a short bench (7D, 11F) to keep up with the Kings. Broberg/Kostin/Ryan hardly touched the ice some games. Vegas looks more comfortable and more fresh.

McDavid and Draisaitl will either carry the series or Oilers lose is my prediction.

I dont disagree with your premise, but I find your conclusion that depth is a huge strength (or somehow more trustworthy?) for Vegas compared to Edmonton a little strange and frankly I disagree.

Its basically a wash for the actual 6 roster spots available, slight advantage to Vegas as their bench guys are slightly better, but its not exactly staggering. Generally Vegas' bottom 6 scores slightly more, but the Oilers bottom 6 gets scored on less. Size, weight, physicality is a wash.

If it is an advantage at all, not sure it compensates at all for the large scoring gap between the Vegas and the Oilers Top6.

I honestly do not get how people can say Edmonton has no forward depth. This has been proven to be wrong so many times and I feel like people puppet comments without verifying if it is true.

This will come down to goaltending for the Oilers. If they get average goaltending then they will be the favourites, if their goaltending falters then Vegas could take it.
