The problem is if Janmark was healthy and the Oilers ran 12-6 it would mean more minutes for Desharnais because Woodcroft would absolutely leave him in instead of Broberg.

If a team was up by a lead that large relevant to another sport (I.e. 40 point lead in basketball) there wouldn’t be a starter on the ice for risk of injury.

McDavid and Leon should not play this 3rd period imo. Maybe a couple shifts on the power play but that’s it.

Everyone enjoys supporting a winner. Knights fans only know one year of failure.
