Doesn't matter whether it's going with 7 D or replacing him with Nolan, Kyle Clifford should not be playing right now.

Contributes absolutely nothing to the team except stupid plays. The play last game where Clifford's line was dead tired and he had time and space to softly chip it out to center ice and instead iced it forcing his line to take a defensive zone draw against Getzlaf just summed up Clifford's entire career as a King. There is just nothing between the ears.

Whoever is in for him whether its Nolan or a defenseman couldn't possibly be any worse.

I am from around here. I just can't get worked up over the Mighty Ducks, which they'll always be to me. Cute little Disneyfied Ducks. Likeable Teemu Selanne. No, I want to see someone send Kane and Toews golfing as soon as possible. Of course, I would rather the Kings do the deed. I want to see Doughty and crew have bragging rights over the Chicago mafia, but I'll settle for seeing anyone win over the 'Hawks if the Kings can't get it done.

If the Kings do indeed want to keep Carter on the RW, then the Kings have a massive hole at the 2nd line center spot and Spezza is just a high priced short term band-aid that would cost the Kings assets.
