NHL ice guru Dan Craig is here...wonder if high temperatures make maintaining good ice tougher today than for outdoor game Jan 25...

If they can have ice at Caesar's parking lot in slightly warmer weather...they SHOULD be able to keep it intact at that lowly rink in Anaheim...

AS much as I like Mitchell if he is not good enough to go I am glad they will not push it. Do not want him as a liability out there
 
i'm not necessarily expecting mitchell to be in tonight, but i wouldn't rule him out just because he stayed on for extra work as we usually do. i imagine he'd want to get some extra work in, and i'm sure sutter wouldn't mind keeping anaheim guessing by doing that, either.
 
Ill take a Willie at 80% over Shultz at 100. Even more so in a game 7

Why we need to beat the Hawks because we were their ***** last year. Then beat the hell out of the Canadians because of 93 - Then all Kings fans around the world can rejoice in song and dance.

Got a blueberry turnover for the MB Whole Foods just like I did before Game 6. What started out as a snarky tribute to the Kings has now become a good luck ritual, lol.
 
We've been a streaky team all season, but especially in the playoffs:

Lost 3 vs sharx
Won 4 vs sharx
Won 2 vs dux
Lost 3 vs dux
Won 1 vs dux (keep the streak alive boys!)
 
have a decent sized phone install in Carmel later today, already told my guys 6pm im out they can try to reach me at the sports bar down the street if they want :laugh:

wish i was going to the game though, judging by how awesome it was to be in SJ for that game 7 win and how loud the LA fans were after the game...the ponda center will be lucky to still be standing if our boys pull this one out!
