If Demko was somehow "okay" to play Game 1... do you even go with him right now? I kinda think you need to let Silovs lose a game first before you go back to Demko.

Yes you go with Vezina candidate Demko.

Moot point, but I think it's a slam dunk decision if he is healthy.

When we beat Nashville in 2011, I remember Dan Hamhuis blocking a Shea Weber slapshot in the gut at the end of game 6. Myers with the huge block at the end helped seal it tonight in game 6 again.

Yeah... tough call.

Not ideal for Demko to go in cold against a team like Edmonton. But at the same time, maybe worth the risk if it's early where Canucks can afford to lose if it means Demko can get some time in.

Silovs' has a small sample size against a not very heavily offensive team. But at least so far, we we know he's good enough to be the regular backup next season. Canucks just saved some money now.
