To be fair, they're doing this because the Preds blocked tons of shots so far. If you don't change the angle you just play into their gameplan.

Also nobody bitched about passing when Boeser scored on a set play after two straight cross-ice passes.

To be fair, they're doing this because the Preds blocked tons of shots so far. If you don't change the angle you just play into their gameplan.

They’d all be injured by the end of the series if they kept blocking shots.

It wasn’t a viable strategy.

But the Canucks got too scared and stopped shooting, so their strategy worked without needing to block any more shots and put their bodies on the line.
