I forgot who reported it, I think it was Seravelli, he said he expected both DeSmith/Silovs to play in this series. I wouldn’t be shocked if they had a load management plan

Seravalli didn’t say that. He said that there’s a belief Demko could be available midway through round 2.

Wasn't Seravelli but there's been some buzz Silovs would see ice in this series regardless, that was before the announcement of the DeSmith injury.

There it is.

Desmith played well enough to keep the net and I don't think tocchet would play 4d chess going to an unproven rookie for reasons.

As shocking as this is—I see DeSmith vs. Silovs as a fairly even trade-off.

While he got the job done in game 3, you can't ignore that DeSmith was giving up a ton of rebounds and dropped pucks.

Silov's weakness is the cross-seam pass. Which this year's team has been fairly effective at stopping for Demko.
