amazing how much they were outplayed but only gave up one PP.

thank god quick flipped the switch in the playoffs.

I was asking for Toffoli after Game 2 and a few of you said he would get killed...
that he has to bulk up. He's solid and a gamer. After Carter, may have the best release on the team. And he can roof the puck.

i admit i thought he would have gotten killed. he was really composed out there.

Boy watch the NHL.com highlight reel. After that OT goal they pan to Sutter; He did not look happy.

Sutter had the most intense look on his face leaving the Bench.

Voynov is such a STUD!!!

And how, sweet , sweet Slava, sign him up Deano. I hope the KHL doesn't nab him. He's really growing and the confidence he shows for a young D is amazing . Nice to think of him and DD for years to come.

I feel like my heart is going to explode.

Seriously, this series is killing me. And my dog isn't quite sure what to make of the new and useful ways to use my favorite curse word. Tonight he took his bone and left the room in protest.

He impressed me tonight. Looked good on the LW in OT. Hopefully he can make the switch and give the Richards line some life. He was strong on the puck tonight. Much more than during the regular season.

I thought TT played a good game, given it's his baptism into the playoff world. That's not easy , it's a whole new sea of pressure to wade through. I'd rather have him and Richardson in over Fraser.

Kopitar, brown and now carter interviews.

Brown and Carter on 2 different networks asked the same question about the team's ability to come back from and 0-2 deficit, 3 straight wins, the way the games were close, etc.
Both same the same thing, something Brown has been saying all week, that this team is a special group, and he again said that what they went thru last year and the fact that mostly they are all back again has made all the difference
Carter said something very similar, saying it's such a close group, and that confidence comes from that.

You have to think that this will affect the Blues. They had so many chances , esp in the 1at, if they had banked some of those chances....

And you know I felt that was their weakness last year. That their D was solid but they didn't have the type of elite top players, esp down the middle, that the Kings had. They don't have a Carter or Kopi who can come thru the middle and break a game. I thought they'd take care of that last summer; but picking up 2 more D at the deadline , esp with JayBo's pricetag, didn't make sense. Now they have to move one or more of them over the summer, they have too many D.

Can't wait for Friday.

I am very happy A Mart has made it back to playing and contributing.

So solid. Muzzin was bunk tonight again though. That's got to be a concern, he's scary back there. I cringe every time he's got the puck.

Find a pic of sutter smiling. He's not the most expressive person out ther

Muzzin sucks against the Blues. He can't handle their heavy forecheck.

If the Kings do pull through the series, I think he will be fine. If he gets any time at all he can usually make a good play. Muzzin makes the most glaring mistakes, but Voynov and Scuderi have had trouble with the forecheck as well. Doughty has been handling it, because he's Doughty, and Regher has been solid against it, probably due to his strength.

Not to dampen the mood but that is a ridiculous statement. The Blues in no way "dominated" the game.

They had possession but they didn't do much with it so I agree they didn't dominate.

Yes they did....What game were you watching ? They kicked the Kings ass up and down the ice all night. The Third period was one big PP for the Blues.

The Kings play like that again....

I am glad they won, but That look on Sutter's face after he left the bench says it all.

Sutter looked pissed.

Give the Russian his money!

He's going to be a special player. Had 50+ goals last 2 years in the OHL and was
rookie of the year, his first in the AHL. (despite not being there the last month) There are those who said his skating was poor, when he was drafted, but he worked hard and improved his skating. They said his conditioning and strength was lacking, and he's dedicated himself to that.

I don't think DL has to go to go to any extremes to get a top 6 in the off season. This kid is ready and capable of being the solution. Can put KIng back on to the bottom 6, where he belongs.

Not to be too confident but if they can close it out next game they can get a decent break.

They could get probably 2 or 3 days off if things go our way. A game 7 isn't scheduled until Monday,so any round two wouldn't start until at least wed/thurs.

just a note
not that anybody puts a lot of stock in+/- but I think Voynov after tonight will be tied for the lead in that stat. In a low scoring series that is rather odd
