JimFox19 #LAKings #StLouisBlues not many changes expected-STL may go w/ 79 on 4th-if so will LAK go with 12 F 6 D-

If that's right, I wonder which D sits. I hope Martinez plays, he's been very good.

If they dress 6 I think Muzzin get's sat, as if you sit ellerby you are looking at 4 offensive D men leaving Scuderi and RR as the only defensive guys. Sutter likes to use Ellerby on the PK as well, so just my 2 cents.

I'd honestly not change from the 7 defensemen if I'm sutter. Being able to limit Muzzin and Ellerby's even strength TOI is valuable.

If we're gonna make a push; 1. we need to click on road, 2. we need our top players to produce consistantly. These two must happen, the early they start to do it the better.

i agree with Winger, no reason changing things up. Keep 7 D man and limit Ellerby and muzzins time. I like Nolan but we dont him in the lineup right now, especially at the cost of taking dumb penalties

also i love this quote by brown...this sums it up pretty good.

We had better sticks. We were starting to knock down a lot of pucks in the second half in the third, and we had a few chances off of turnovers, just because we had good sticks. Now we need to have that at the beginning of the game."

I have absolutely no idea what this game is going to look like. Kings have been so inconsistant all year, never know what to expect. Hope for the best and be prepared for the worst.
Penner,DD, Brown,Voynov,Carter,Richards, hopefully have fire in their eyes. JW (Mr. Dependable) no worries about him..he always shows up ready.

I sorta want to keep 11 forwards because the 4th line having a player change makes it so much better.

If the Blues start rolling their heavy hitting 4th line again it makes sense that we would role one as well. On the other side since the Blues will be heavily line matching it also makes sense to have some top liners rotating into that spot to provide unexpected offensive threat to that line.

Pot a couple early, and I think the Blues crumble. I'm hoping for a much better road effort, but will settle for a win. GO KINGS GO!!!

I have a pretty good feeling about tonight's game. The Blues' best period was period one of game one. They've been trending down ever since. The Kings' best period was probably the third period of game four. So if the trends are to continue, things look pretty good. Should be a hell of a game.

We're gonna keep fighting. We're gonna attack all night, we're gonna attack tomorrow morning if necessary. If we are not VICTORIOUS, let no man come back alive!

With my national team playing like ****, I'm counting on the kings to inject some happiness in my life. Can't wait.

Firstly thank you from every aspect of my being as a person and a Kings fan to puckU for another excellent season of PGT's and to everyone else who steps up and gives us their all in gathering/sharing info to make us all better informed about our team throughout the season.

You guys and gals all rock out with your socks out (or male chickens out or whatever hangs out when you rock out).

Secondly.

The way this series is going is exactly what I was saying about our not being the same dominant team that we were last year and pretty much what I expected to see happen so far. I know I am not alone in these thoughts but it is what I saw coming.

The good thing about this is that we all know exactly what we need to do to beat the Blues and that is fight back, play hard and drive the net.

Happy with the game that A Mart has given us and am totally baffled by Suters line combo's and D pairings but he coached us to a cup and gets my 100% support until we win the cup again now or start getting ready for next season.

Either way I am very proud of how much fight and determination we have played with so far. I mean we had the single most biased ref job (7pp for the blues vs 1 for us when the blues pretty much lead with their elbow all night long) and have come back from Quickies single biggest brain fart of his life to go into tonight with the series tied.

The Blues for all of their hacking and running us are looking like they expect us to beat them with each win we get.

Tonight is a great chance for us to take a big jump up. Would love to see Greener in the line up, sure would give us a big boost. Muzzin has had a tough series but he does show signs of improvement here and there. I do like seeing him throw his weight around.

So there we go.

GO KINGS GO!!!!!!

COME ON BOYS!!!!!

LETS GIVE THESE BIG SISSIES THE BLUES TONIGHT!!!!!!!

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

GAWD I LOVE BEING A KINGS FAN!!!!!!!

Hope Sutter stays with the Brown/Kopi/Carter & King/Richards/Williams lines tonight.

He's using the same starting lineup as the previous games, keeping Carter and Richards together, which I like. But you know Sutter tinkers during the game, so he'll adjust if he sees fit. Esp if Hitch makes adjustments on who he puts out there and how the Blues CPR lines is doing.

From today's practice and post practice from the LA KINGs insider

Projected Lines – Los Angeles

Dustin Brown – Anze Kopitar – Justin Williams
Dwight King – Mike Richards – Jeff Carter
Dustin Penner – Jarret Stoll – Trevor Lewis
Kyle Clifford – Colin Fraser

Robyn Regehr – Drew Doughty
Jake Muzzin – Slava Voynov
Alec Martinez – Rob Scuderi
Keaton Ellerby

Jonathan Quick
Jonathan Bernier

-No lineup changes are expected for Los Angeles,

Utah probably wants Nolan in the lineup, hence the "ugh".

Me? I'd be fine sitting Ellerby for Nolan but double-shifting a forward on the 4th line hasn't hurt since he's spread the extra shift around amongst the forwards.

If that's the lineup I'm glad. 7 D works in this series. If we get through it then is the time to try something else.

I like the 7 D man. It keeps everyone's minutes down, and all the guys look fresh through three periods.

Very few forwards even played 20 minutes game four.

It's keeping everyone's minutes down. Which is good.

It also lets Sutter double shift guys like Williams/Carter/Lewis on that fourth line, that is not a bad thing.

Those three guys are the Kings best wingers (not named Brown). it's good to have them take a 40 second shift on the fourth line.
