Sutter has made some BAFFLING decisions over the last month. How long has Martinez been game ready? If so, why wasn't he playing over Ellerby? Why is King in a scoring role? Why go blender on the defensive pairings and dress seven D when the biggest issue we've had is breaking out? Why is Scuderi playing RD when he has trouble keeping the puck in on his strong side?

So you know Sutter has actual information on players and all we have us rumors. That's everything you need to know about AM or Green. King isn't in a scoring role he's the big body that needs to hit and open up space. Scuderis been having trouble with everything this season.....

I think the importance of having a strong defense from top to bottom is even more apparent than ever before. Look at how long it takes from the Kings to move from their end of the ice to the neutral zone and to the offensive zone.

The lack of puck movement and smart defensemen who can make quick outlets is trapping the Kings inside their end or the neutral zone. Muzzin can't pass the puck, All he is good for is shooting on the PP. Mitchell and Greene were good at keeping the puck out and getting it up the ice. Goes to show you how players like those two cannot be easily replaced.

Bingo:handclap:

We don't really have anyone to replace them in the system, either. Regehr isn't the answer. He's a good defenseman, but he is basically a more physical Scuderi. We miss Mitchell immensely.

Good thing Kopitar is away from Backes' watchful eye, I was worried Kopitar would be neutralized.
