And this IS what it is too ... in the long run the kid will be fine, earlier in the season his confidence was sky high and he was the rookie defensemen of the month and seemingly could do no wrong. The pressure is turned up a notch in the playoffs and he hasn't handled it well, but he will get better over time and with more experience like he's getting.

Yeah, I remember shades of Voynov frustrations last year (boy how long ago that feels) and now he's doing pretty good.

This Greene/Mitchell being gone has put too many minutes on Muzzin. I've counted 4 blatently bad plays by the guy, and I'm not as fanatical over small plays. Just rough for the kid.

Yeah, but the playoffs isn't the time to be learning from mistakes. One small mistake could cost us the series. And now that we know that Amart isn't injured, I say let Muzzin sit the rest of the playoffs, or at the very least, this series.

Credit to the blues for their forecheck though, they're putting our D under a lot of pressure.

None of this matters if Kopitar is going to continue to be a no show. The Kings are not going to win any series or games with Kopitar being a fat Zero on the board.

Full credit goes to the Blues - they are doing to us what we did to three teams in last year's playoffs. I don't forget that Muzzin played very well earlier in the year, either. But we need players that are showing up to play right now, and Muzzin isn't including in that category. Park his ass in the press box for the rest of the series. Martinez will do just fine on the third pairing.

I'm really not asking the world of guys like Muzzin. Just please stop passing it directly to the guy right in front of your net. If we could just limit those things, I think I would be ok.

So true, hes had slumps in the past and ive given him a pass but this time it seems different. I dont see the effort or the brains that he normally has, not sure what up.

Lol, well, nice sell by Doughty. Berglund did get him in the shield, though.
