GDT: WCQF: Game 7 Blues @ Jets 6PM CST FDSNMW/TBS

Everybody stay off the sports radio stations for like 1 week…. A bunch of morons saying what they would have done….

Huge implosion from a team that has exceeded expectations this year. We all knew this wasn’t the year. Just sucks to lose in that fashion.

Maybe that was the elixir the jets needed…

I’m on the Berube Leafs wagon now.

Finally ended the pain of watching that shit show lol

Holy f*** what a collapse
It was over as soon as Faulk iced the puck up 3-1. You knew it was coming just like it did all the other times he has iced it this year.

I view this series as a downpayment for a year when we view ourselves as a legit contender, for young guys to draw from.

Good luck to the Jets next round. It’s got to be a fun night to be a Jets fan, watching their team pull off a miraculous comeback.

I’m proud of our guys. The loss doesn’t really sting, since it all felt bonus to me. I was not confident at all about facing Dallas, who I think will come out of the West. Too bad ownership misses out on Round 2 revenue, though.

I'll root for the Jets. They don't quit...unlike some teams we know ;)

Coming into this season I don’t think anyone expected playoffs…then we get there and I don’t think many of us expected much….but god damn does this sting.

Choke a way the lead to a team with a shaky goalie and missing a couple of its top players.
They wanted it more and this year we knew this playoffs were about experience more than anything else. Now that some are going to spend the offseason living with the shame, we'll see if it makes folks either man up or ship out.

That 4th line is absolute fire. Respect to them.

Proud AF with our team.

Generally I agree, but blowing a 2 goal lead in game 7 with 2 minutes to play is a huge gut punch.

I can't say I'm disappointed by the finish because there was zero part of me that felt like we'd be able to score in OT. Also part of me that felt we'd have nothing left in the tank for next series anyway.

They took the President's Trophy winners to the brink. That's way more than any of us expected out of this season.

Hopefully this makes them hungrier.

He was very bad tonight but I thought he had a good series.

This loss is 100% on Faulk and Buch.
Literally 2/4 goals were directly his fault, dumb penalty and inept at getting the puck out for the winner. He does nothing out there that is remotely positive

We can't just get rid of Kyrou, it has to be for something we need. RD or a replacement RW or 2C like Larkin.
Trade him for whatever. Just get rid of that contract and bring something of value back. He can't handle tight checking and its been like this for years. His only asset is his speed and he REFUSES to skate with the puck.
