That was pathetic defense at the end there by Parayko. All he had to do was engage in that board battle and help eat the puck and we win. He stood there while Thomas battled THREE guys, simply unacceptable.
Why was Faulk on the ice at the end there instead of Fowler? That's inexcusable coaching. Suter over Broberg is a f***ing stupid choice too.
As much as I think Monty has done well for us, Army needs to sit him down at the end of the season and tell him that we need to change a couple of things. First, our 6 on 5 strategy. We have to have given up the most 6 v 5 goals against this season. I've never seen a team choke so bad with the goalie pulled as often. It's so frustrating. Second, he shortens the bench way too early. He worries about keeping guys like Kyrou, Snuggy, and Bolduc on the bench while continuing to feed minutes to guys like Sundqvist and Walker. There's no reason for that. This is game 7. There's no reason Kyrou should have less minutes then Nathan f***ing Walker. You can't leave your horses in the stable all third period and then be shocked when we collapse. I don't think Bolduc took a shift after the 15 minute mark of the third.
I am beyond frustrated right now with this team.
