GDT: WCQF: Game 7 Blues @ Jets 6PM CST FDSNMW/TBS

I don't see that happening. There's only been 1 "close" game all series and that was the snooze fest of game 2.
One way or another, I expect a blow out. I expect we'll know the outcome of the game before the end of the 2nd period.
Game 1 was a close game. Even large parts of game 5 were too, but even if we don’t count that, the first 2 games were definitely close, at the very least.

The only true blowouts were the games we beat them.

Tonight's Zebra brigade is Gord Dwyer and Jean Hebert.
I'd expect either a very fairly called game; or for the whistles to get completely swallowed tonight.

Side note; Dwyer officiated 3 of our 4 wins in the 2019 Cup Finals(including game 7). By default, that makes him one of my favorite striped equines.

Don’t let this amazing run end tonight. Losing all 4 on the road would legitimately piss me off, even though I know we’re playing with house money by even being here. Make these Jets fans crash the f*** out tonight.

No Scheifele again tonight

My biggest fear is the Jets doing this right before puck drop...

Game 1 wasn't close until we decided to shut down and turtle with a 1 goal lead(only 2 shots on goal in the 3rd).
It would have been a blow out(in our favor) if we had played a full 60 minutes.

If they can be even just a bit better 5-on-5 in Winnipeg than they have been the other games up there, I think they’ll win. They can’t go through some 15 minute stretch where they only manage 4 shots.
100% agree with all of this! But especially the bolded. We can’t sit back and let them attack us for a long stretch. Hellebuyck will give us some goals but to get them we have to create offense.

Is Kyrou back...I mean mentally.

After that hit in game #4 (?) he's been a non-factor.

I think you’ve asked and partially answered your own question.

He's leading the team in 5v5 Offensive Chances this series, Once one goes in more will follow.
As Linkens points out, Kyrou is getting chances, they just haven’t gone in. I wouldn’t be surprised to hear he’s been one of our guys playing through an injury this time of year after receiving that hit.

Now it would be good to have him finish some chances that he’s getting, it would be a needed boost to our offense. And tonight is no better for him to start converting on some again.

I’ve been saying this since then. The Blues should have won Game 1. They played a terrible third period, but they were the better team the majority of the game.

Every other game of the series I do believe the better team that day won. I don’t believe so for Game 1.
