All you look at are results. Which is fine, you're entitled to do that.

You said yourself that if we lost to him again this year with that defense then you'll finally admit that he owns Bednar. There's a point where context becomes an excuse, and we're well past that.

I love Bednar, and I think he's a great coach. But if he goes 0-4 against DeBoer, and can only get past the second round once in 9 years with two of the four best players in the world, it might be time for a change. Bedsy is coaching for his job in game 6 in my opinion.

At the end of the day, the Avs blew this series. They had two games with leads going into the third that they shit the bed on. Classic turtle leading to the other team gaining massive momentum. They should have set up the sweep, but instead they're now in danger of elimination.

Unless the Avs collectively pull their asses out of their heads, this is it. They are done.

Three chances to explain how this game is Bednar's fault. Fitting given how many chances the Avs miss.

Did you not hear me bitching in the first? We played their game all night long. Bednar's system refuses to go to the paint, and screen the goalie. Blackwood and Makar were shit tonight, but they're just the latest victims of Bednar's lack of adjustments. The Stars pressures us all night long and that leads us into mistake after mistake. That's what Deboer system does to Bednar's. Our top players always look like shit playing his, because he knows how to exploit it. These unlucky bounces are all manufactured by Dallas and Deboer's system. If we don't play a perfect game, we lose. It's incredibly hard to play 4 perfect games.

What a f***ing miserable week and it’s only Monday.

Well, I refrained from posting and that did f*** all, guess I'll bitch a bit. Holy shit the defensive coverage is awful around the Avs net. Dallas tries to get everything into the center of the ice and tries to crowd the net. Meanwhile, the Avs spend 80-90% of their time throwing the puck around the perimeter. That goes for both offensive and defensive set ups.

Girard could not have played that 2 on 1 any worse, he wasn't taking the passing lane or the shooting lane, he was just standing around being useless. Makar has been as bad as I've ever seen him play, truly a baffling series for him. We've got too many guys that just aren't willing to make that extra effort to make impactful plays. Oettinger is basically allowed to see every puck, and the Avs make one of the poorest efforts at fighting for loose pucks. They make the obligatory poke at the goalie, but there's not a meaningful attack there.

The special teams are garbage. When they lose this series the entirety of the coaching staff needs to be scrapped. Their time is done, their effectiveness is dead.

The weird thing is that Bednar completely acknowledges that the Avs need more traffic in front of the net but it just never happens.

It's as if the coaching strategy goes as follows:

Bednar: "crash the net and create traffic in front of their goalie"

The players: "no"

Bednar: "well...I tried".

Haven’t won a 2-2 series in forever. Haven’t beaten Dallas in an over 5 game series. Game 7s are rough. Something’s got to give…or not. Just don’t let it be Duchene or Rantanen with the game winner (it will definitely be one of them).

I have no idea what's going on. He had so many chance he wired wide of the net in game 1and now it feels like he's overcompensating and just shooting weak shots straight into the goalie.

Makar being a complete ghost this series has utterly destroyed the Avs.

We knew Dallas was missing Heiskanen, we didn't know the Avs would also be missing Makar.

He desperately needs a shot to fall. He’s gotten his shots and just everything is swallowed up. At least that’s better than early in the series when everything sailed high and wide. If he can get one, I think his swagger comes back in full.

How is Makar getting a pass, everyone's giving him shit on these boards. He's been awful this series, and looks pedestrian. I think Makar, Toews, and Girard have been bad this series.
