Absolutely comical that people are blaming Bednar for Mackinnons performance. Nathan Mackinnon has 2 gears. His first gear is a top player in the world, and the second is a floater who handles the puck like a frag grenade. We’re lucky that we often see the first gear but we’ve all seen the second gear far too many times. Quit blaming injury, Bednar and ice time. We’ve seen this since his rookie season, it’s nothing new.

So what’s the fix when you see such inconsistency in the team’s play? The Avs have gotten some bad breaks but they aren’t playing well. Isn’t it the HC’s job to have the players ready to play from the get go? Granted the HC isn’t on the ice but inconsistent play is a sign the HC’s message isn’t getting through anymore. Anyway, let’s hope the Avs can score another this period.

Dallas is double teaming MacK every time he touches the puck.... the other Avs on the ice need to stop watching him and he should quick return pass to his line mates. And the D needs to give the forwards closer support and provide an option with a quick shot.

Seems (like games 2 & 3) that the D has been told to play conservative and not push the offense.

Shit! It's 3 - 1. Black wood needs to step up and bail out his team on any odd man rush Dallas has.
