Interesting that he had the final shift on D - they swapped Theodore off after the ENG but left Hanifin out there. And Pietrangelo wasn't on the ice from 17:22 on.

Pietrangelo and Stone were both awful in this game I thought. Theodore wasn't much better.

I'll preface this by saying I think Noah is a very quality dman but I've never seen him raise his level or be the guy to make the crucial play offensively or defensively. He's just consistently above average. I wouldn't have him on the 1st PP if I were the Knights but what do I know.

Because he was having a f***ing awful period. Both he and Theodore were two of the worst culprits of Vegas' dogass puck management. Difference is Pietrangelo makes 8.8 million dollars to handle the puck better than he did vs. Theodore's 5.2

What will actually kill Vegas attendance is if they build that stupid baseball stadium right on the Strip AND the team starts struggling. It’s going to be so congested with traffic and the casinos are going to charge $100 to park anywhere.

Based on the last two games, here is Vegas's game plan for the next two.

If they had say a season where they went like 20-45-17 or something the out of town attendance would still help but during holiday weeks they'd have nobody there. If Vegas is like 7-19-2 playing say the Devils on 12/23 the place would be empty probably as no Devils fans are making the trip during a holiday week and many SSTs would be away but most times they'd still draw plenty in, especially for teams like BUF/NYR/BOS etc

Stone told Ottawa during that sign and trade it was Vegas/NYI as far as the 5-6 teams in the mix. Obviously just one example but a the time Vegas had little to no status. I think just the fact weather is good in season and you do not have to stay there for summer and generally its more kid friendly than it was say 30-40 years ago that it will always be up there and also no income tax
You forgot to mention the all night drinking, 24 hour gambling and hookers galore

These days it feels like most of these dudes are married at like 25 though so not sure thats a draw lol. I find it odd the general pop marriage age has been going up or just people are not getting married at all but at least in MLB/NHL which I follow most nobody is single by 30 anymore

Can’t wait to see Vegas attendance when they’re bottom feeders.
You are going to be very sad....because that is likely never to happen as this is the most desired place to play for........they will always attract the best easily and sometimes even for a discount.....and with the lineup they got now, they will be a threat for at least a few more years....and that isn't even taking into account free agents they will attract and great trades that they seem always to make......

Yeah, damn, I wonder if we can draw any conclusions from the fact that incredibly wealthy people are still getting married in their youth.

I have to assume the money is why, obviously back 20-30 years ago pro athletes got paid way less and took care of their bodies less, they'd drink in season, do drugs etc. I just am not sure if its money because its attracting mates to them more or if its they feel more financially stable and ready to settle...its probably more the first one than the 2nd

I'm thinking the drinking, drugs and womanizing is as rampant as ever

It's age old and will likely go on forever I suspect

Multiple seasons of losing would probably do it. I wonder what it would be like if the team misses the playoffs at least 5 years in a row.
