GDT: WCQF: Game 4 - Dallas Stars @ Colorado Avalanche | 7:30PM MT

I would be full chub for an Avs/Canes final. Love both the teams. Avs 1000/1000 times. But I love their team, their players, and was sad Mikko didn't work out there because I was going to buy his jersey there. Now I have to legit boo him every game.

It turned out as well for the Canes as it possibly could've. Mikko chose to float and be a diva because he didn't like our playstyle, and now we have Short King Extraordinaire Stankoven and more 1st round draft picks than some rebuilding teams.

Him and Coyle. Even though Coyle has gone a bit quiet in the series. But yeah, two extremely shrewd moves that I hated initially as well
I've known about Coyle since the Avs/Minny rivalry days. I thought he'd be a helpful asset.

Knew nothing about Lindgren and assumed he was a salary/contract dump with only middling skills. Man was I wrong about that!

I've been saying this for three years. I'm glad to hear Gabe thought the same thing.

For certain individuals it's 99% mental. If you believe you can do it, you can do it.

Unlike in the past when players didn't take care of their body, players like Gabe have turned their body into a finely tuned machine. It will get back into NHL form if you put in the work.

The skills will stay there because there's a muscle memory form years and years and years of playing hockey. Gabe knows how to play hockey and he showed it again tonight.
I have been sooooo wrong about Landeskog's come back.

And listening to a lot of the wrong so called experts about his recovery.

Mack's right. There's only one Gabe Landeskog.

Blackwood and Nichushkin.

The odd couple that have become such close friends.

Nuke is in a good place right now.

That was the loudest I have ever heard Ball Arena scream for anything. Makar's OT goal against the Preds in '22 had NOTHING on the noise that building made for Gabe's goal. I don't know if the broadcast showed it but nobody sat down for about 4-5 solid minutes after that even after the puck was back in play. Ecstatic energy.
