What are Sutter's options? Gravel? I like the kid and think he'll solidify the top 4 next year, but he's played 1 NHL game in the last 2-3 months. Greene? He hasn't played all year. So what does that leave Sutter to do? Go with 5 d-men?
 
Kings finally figured out they need to get the puck out quickly not worrying about "possession".

Scuderi is like the old guy at pickup hockey who is out there just for the exercise and would be perfectly happy if he never touched the puck the entire session.

Sad thing is, he is better than McNabb.
 
Did Terry Murray sneak onto the bench? Score the goal then back right off again, they look better but are still chasing the puck too much

And I know Gravel and Forbort are rookies who haven't played in awhile but Sutter cannot justify keeping Scuderi in the lineup, he is getting abused bad

Gravel over Scuderi, who is a complete ****show out there. Its a risk, but its highly doubtful we take this series anyway.
 
If that was a sign of things to come, good. Kept getting stronger, finally got to force them to play our game a bit.

Please Kings, make that your wake up call.

Im going to beat this drum all night and all the way till we're eliminated and into the summer....McNabb has go to go. Brutal out there. Thats hits ok during the 82 game grind becasue his crappy play gets diluted over the course of the season but he's a big **** neon sign that says, "Free goals here".
 
Gravel is better than both Scuderi and McNabb. The point is, he should be out there right now. If Sutter can't recognize this, he shouldn't be the head coach anymore.
 
McNabb gets nervous with the puck on his stick in the defensive zone. That's why he makes such poor decisions and has a hard time making basic passes.
 
Its now official, Kings have set a new playoff record for the slowest defense in league history.
 
Did Elliotte Friedman just say Kopi would likely be named captain as early as next year? I wasn't fully paying attention but that's what it sounded like.

as does Lucic, which lead to the sharks goal. shouldn't the #1 goal tonight have been "do not allow a goal in the first 3 minutes? take an icing - anything!!"

nope! - cough it up, give up a goal.
this team has 40 minutes to remind me of the Kings teams from 12 and 14...*

* technically, not until game 4, I guess...
