Yeah, I thought the Stars have been the better team the last 2 games and have deservedly won. The Avs are struggling to generate chances, and it's crazy because the Stars underlying metrics since Heiskanen got hurt suggested they were a bottom 5 team, and yet here we are as they've outplayed the Avs the last 2 games and are in control of this series.
It almost feels like the Avs thought this would be a walk in the park after game 1, topped off with the Stars missing Heiskanen/Robertson
Stars underlying metrics are basically on-par with the Avs this series which is absolutely shocking to me. Not sure how they are doing this.
I also think the Avs top pairing and the top line were tired on that OT goal... they had basically been on the ice for the entire OT at that point with maybe 1 shift off including 4 mins straight on the PP with no tv timeout in the middle.
