Stars just aren't it this year. Losing 2 of their best players really hurts.

Ranto is still a good player and I'm sure he will be for the next few years but that contract is going to age very poorly and may turn into a boat anchor for Dallas.

I think he may just be mentally burned out. When a big time player is moved in a season it can wear on them. In 23 Horvat was brutal for the Isles after he was traded there. Everyone thought maybe VAN moved on at the right time then he came back and posted his biggest season ever in 23-24. Later said he was just worn out from the whole trade etc....Rantanen has been moved TWICE so it may be worse
