He was f***ing pathetic tonight. Floating, holding onto the puck too long, losing every battle he's in. You'd think the old man would give everything he's got to win something for once in his career, but some guys just don't have it in them.

Rolling all 4 lines is just so, so important for this team to succeed in the playoffs. Nelson is the glaring reason why that isn't possible right now.
No chance the team keeps him. Then, what's the plan for 2C? Necas? New coach?

That JB has neutered the second line is solely on him and it’s utterly inexcusable. On top of that, I’m sick of a coach that can’t adapt in game.

The top 6 should be:

27-29-13
62-11-88

FIX IT NOW YOU F****ING MORON! Either get with the program or GTFO!
No worries. After we inevitably lose 4 in a row to Dallas Bednar will get canned. He is beyond terrible at this point.

The roster decisions just make no f***ing sense. EJ didn't look great game 1 so yeah, keep him on for game 2. Miles Wood... Miles f***ing Wood. Get these guys up in the press box and sell their gear. We cannot have them play and expect to have a good chance to win.

It's not even that I'm that sold on Malinski as he might get outmatched in the playoffs honestly but anything is better than EJ. As far as Wood is concerned, play Vesey for all I care. Just don't play Wood.

The Avs looked like the better team for parts of the OT.

No need to panic.

The Avs out hit the Dallas defense zone solidly last game. And if there is one thing Milez Wood can do its skate in a straight line and run into things.

Putting him in wasn't the worst idea.

Now they'll be back home with Landy and Malinski and the new look second line featuring Nelson Drouin and Necas.

Step back from the ledge it'll all be ok.

I mean ya but he won’t.

This place is always doom and gloom. They split the first two games away. Having played not their best hockey yettttttt at times they were dominant. I just can’t see the avs not winning at home both games. Especially with landy return. And Befnar moving Necas with nelson
We hope not but let's wait and see.

I think the Avs were better than Dallas in game 1 and through 40 minutes tonight.

The reason for the frustration is twofold:

1) the game was right there for a 2-0 series lead
2) Miles Wood's stupid ass

Remember, Dallas went down 2-0 to Vegas last year both on home ice and won 4 of the last 5. Every game blown by the Avs is another couple days for Heiskanen/Robertson to return.

Avs gotta take care of business at home, and it starts with 8.

Obviously he doesn't know we're supposed to fall back on narratives after a loss and blame EJ and Bednar.

Well, I do also blame EJ for that OT goal. He shouldn’t be in the lineup.

Even earlier in OT when they had possession and kept throwing it back to him, he killed every play. There’s next to zero skating and puck handling ability left.

Wow wow, we lost Game 2 in OT, not the series....A Game that never should have went there, ok, but it is what it is....

Still took home ice allthough we are still not running on all cylinders....

We take Game 3 and 4 and all will be good.

Landy will be back after this one, book it.
Lol they'll skate him around in warmups again then play Vesey. If he can play he would, but he can't or they'd done it tonight. It's a f***ing Disney movie at this point.

Heiskanen sure. Robertson is not coming back this series

Why shouldn’t have gone to OT? Dallas shit kicked this team 5v5, especially in the 3rd.

Anyway, impressive stuff playing against the worst defence in the playoffs. Shades off 2022 all over this team, glad they could turn the switch on like that.

I'm confused about the bitching that Bednar didn't adjust tonight. They played bad in the 3rd, then were clearly the better team in OT, so apparently they changed something up.

Bad plays by EJ and Wood killed the game, not Bednar "not adjusting". Plus yeah it sucks we lost, but was anyone realistically expecting a sweep here? Its one game, not getting close to elimination.

He caused the situation, but EJ also contributed to that loss by getting out played by a guy that's 5'8. Not being able to stick with his man just affirms how much his skating has declined.

Bingo. We wasted opportunities. Eventually those 2 will be back and then we'll really get run out of the building.

You thought Manson was bad? I certainly didn't.
YES. And I thought that long before I saw this.

He was awful. Wasn’t winning puck battles (though there were quite a few Avs doing that), doing way too much with the puck again, failed to tie anyone up in the slot area.

I think I’m starting to notice when he’s playing hurt vs. when he’s mostly healthy. Game 1 he was definitely okay. Tonight was a total 180.

Again, it wasn’t just him, I have no idea what the hell was going on with Sammy either.

Lastly, something seemed very much off with Nate. I thought he played really well, worked his ass off in the defensive zone and got the puck out of trouble on a few occasions. That might have been the problem. He looked gassed in the third, made some WTF turnovers.
