I thought he was a bit of a nightmare. He was bleeding chances all night. Made some okay passes and hits but was an adventure defensively.

He was f***ing pathetic tonight. Floating, holding onto the puck too long, losing every battle he's in. You'd think the old man would give everything he's got to win something for once in his career, but some guys just don't have it in them.

Rolling all 4 lines is just so, so important for this team to succeed in the playoffs. Nelson is the glaring reason why that isn't possible right now.

So many Avs fanning on pucks tonight. Girard on the clear that led to LOC penalty. Val in the 1st multiple times. Kelly in the 2nd shorthanded 2-on-1.

The worst part about that loss is the Avs had a ton of glorious chances in this game, and they seemed to settle down in overtime. They got back to defending properly, staying above pucks, and lots of O-zone time.

One Miles Wood donkey mode effort f***s it all up.

Maybe instead of constructing a Disney movie they should have just played 92?

No way Wood should have played over 92 tonight.

BTW having that same single camera angle in 2025 in just unacceptable. What are we doing? How are there not cameras all over the rink covering every angle like other sports?

You have the dopes in the lower bowl standing for the entirety of OT so you can’t see anything. They were just content with keeping the same camera almost the entire time. For brief seconds they had another angle so it’s clearly there but they just refused to use it to put on a garbage product.

This place is always doom and gloom. They split the first two games away. Having played not their best hockey yettttttt at times they were dominant. I just can’t see the avs not winning at home both games. Especially with landy return. And Befnar moving Necas with nelson

Coyle needs to be the 2C next game. If Brock was just invisible, we could probably weather it, but that's not the case. He's very noticable in the worst kind of way.

Kelly - JD2 - Kivi/LoC.

I'm hesitant to break up the 4th line, but LoC needs more ice time.

I think having Malinski instead of EJ is the obvious move. Landeskog for Wood as well.

However if Colton is ready where do we slot him? I’d almost argue we take out Drouin.

That JB has neutered the second line is solely on him and it’s utterly inexcusable. On top of that, I’m sick of a coach that can’t adapt in game.

Would love to see this Avs team make a concerted effort to funnel every chance at the net, rather than trying 4-5 no look behind the back cross ice interceptions before even thinking about shooting

1st OT is a long change. Have to get the puck deep. Defensemen were racing off the bench on the change and never got things under control, all because of that giveaway just inside the blue line.

Wow wow, we lost Game 2 in OT, not the series....A Game that never should have went there, ok, but it is what it is....

Still took home ice allthough we are still not running on all cylinders....

We take Game 3 and 4 and all will be good.

Landy will be back after this one, book it.
