I'm not sure Wood is the best option. He's looked really bad since he's been back from injury. Vesey isn't anything special, but I wonder if just playing the healthy would have been the better option.

Gives the Avs a spark if they lose this game. Also lets them control the matchups just that much more to make the return easier.

Only thing that makes sense is that Landy gave it a go up till the very last minute with Colton being out, felt he ultimately couldn't contribute the way he wanted to yet and took himself out of the lineup. Sucks
