So I’ve heard Landy is either playing or he’s not

Big game for sure.

If the Avs win you really get the sense it could be series over as we go hone up 2-0.

Losing and it's a new series that could go either way again but with the Avs at least having Home ice advantage now.

Be nice to force Heiskanen back early with a Game 2 win.

I get the pressure to win but that’d be nuts to prematurely bring back Miro. Maybe he surprises but everything I read sounds like this is too early.

Avs up 2-0 with the crowd pumped for Landeskog's first home game and Bednar having last change in game 3 would be a tough hole for Dallas. Big game tonight obviously.

Having both of our bottom 6 lines be able to matchup against any of the opponents lines is a major factor for us in this playoff run.

Though the 2nd line needs to be resolved yet, I’m worried Drouin’s abit of an anchor for any line he’s on right now. He hasn’t been playing well for some time.

On a positive note, MacKinnon looks to be going. We go again tonight.

4-3 Avs, go home up 2-0.

Dallass gonna come out to ‘send a message’ - if we can stick to good D and have guys stay with their coverage I think we withstand this; do think it could be a higher scorer like 5-4 Avs. BBW doing great but our bounces might go Dallas way tonight. LFG Avs.

I would simply just put Landeskog in Colton's spot and leave everything else as is.

Give that second line one more chance. Val getting his speed and motor back to where it needs to be would be a game changer for both his line and the team in general.

Why that? Keep it simple:

27-29-13
62-11-88
92-10-94
17-18-25
I agree that your lineup is preferable. But Bednar has a tendency for going top heavy with players he trusts most, and he tried hard to make Landeskog-Kadri-Nichushkin work a few years ago. Now he has the same opportunity to form a fantastic shutdown line with Coyle between Landeskog and Nichushkin.

That would mean that he can shelter the "3rd" line, with Drouin-Nelson-Kiviranta getting more OZ shifts, just like the Burakovsky/Newhook-Compher-NAK line three years ago.

Anyways that's just some baseless speculation. Pretty sure the top 6 will remain unchanged until the Avs lose a game because for now Bednar seems intent on having Lehkonen and Necas on the top line.
