I still don't get how they called that interference on Kopitar. In the playoffs, no less. Unreal.

Gotta give the NHL credit, officiating in the playoffs has been consistently crappy. It's comical that this is the best the league has to offer in officiating.

For All practical purposes, very balanced D minutes in period 1. I like it. Save Drew for showtime.

1-1 after 1. Aside from the bs calls, they need to get more chances. Going 12 plus min after the goal was scored wasn't the best way to try and build on the lead.

Not a great period by Doughty. Nothing much in terms of offense after the 1st goal. Not much for SJ either, although I think Quick had to come up with at least one big save.

He setup the first goal. No point but without him freeing the puck there was no goal scored. And the penalty call against him was a total phantom.

Maybe a crosscheck, but in the playoffs, that shouldn't be a call anyway. Wonder how different that period ends up without that ****** call.

Kings with 22 hits
Sharks with 16
Bruises will be prominent tomorrow

Just saw the replay of the Kopitar call...what...the...****.

Brad Meier special tonight.

Also noticed him immediately go after Lucic and spin him in a circle by the collar when Hertl tried to talk ****.

Gotta learn to kill a penalty regardless but I didn't REALLY expect made up calls. Kopitar was shaking his head incredulously and I can't blame him one bit.

Keep up the physical play though, my god is it something to behold. The Sharks are keeping up right now--mostly on the boost provided by playing stretch passes and trying to draw calls--but you can tell there are a lot of guys in their lineup that cannot keep up with us crushing them.

And after that, he completely **** the bed with that awful penalty and tentative play. The 10 million dollar man needs to play better.

The Ref grabbed him and said :"Lucic, you can't eat him" when he was going after Hertyl
