I mean we've given up 17 shots. And have 4 goals against.... The D's been fine overall I'd say.
Hard disagree. 1st goal sure wasn't D's fault. / 2nd goal was a pass right up the middle from ur D / goal 3 , both d infront of the net . no one blocked the pass or tied up the free man standing there. / goal 4. D got caught at the blue line and gave up a 2 on 1.

It feels like a fairly decent amount of time the scouting reports don’t get it right because of small sample sizes making things wonky. But tonight is dead on what I expected this series to be. I like the Avs’ game overall. Georgiev isn’t going to make the big save. Helly is.
I should have tried out for goalie for Colorado. Could just have just sat in the splits and hoped for the best!!

The problem is there were very few goalies available and they would cost the moon. Allen could have been had for a 2nd. He shouldn't have been the 1st choice but if nothing else materialized he would have been a decent add.

Pass then. Doesn’t he have an extra year?

I mean there have been mistakes for sure, but I don't think asking for a save% over 60% through the first 4 goals is to much.

Makar pinching and losing the puck to a guy with no stick to give up a two on one. Then Georgiev opening up his 5 hole for an easy one.
Don't know if the ESPN broadcast showed it, but Neiderreiter has no stick so he grabs Makar's with this hands just as the puck comes. Right in front of the whole Avalanche bench. But how would anyone see that right in front of the puck.

Holding the stick is a penalty. Funny how ESPN and the refs didn't see it but random Makar fans on HFBoards saw it.
