If the NHL gave a shit about fairness... the salary cap limit would be applied to playoff games just as it is to regular season games so LTIR shenanigans wouldn't be as much of a factor.

NHL doesn't though... so biases and favoritism towards certain teams will always be a factor above and beyond the skill of the players on the ice.

I feel like they will address the ltir thing sooner than later. Too many media people acknowledging how fishy it is to just ignore.
Have to wait until the next CBA deal though.. enough time for Stone to pull the miracle recovery act off another couple times

What a joke that a professional sports league with literally billion dollar franchises on the line, can’t ice a fair playing field for everyone.

It’s a spit into the face of fans, players, coaches, scouts and everyone who invests time and passion into the Sport.

This is the incompetent Bettman’s NHL.

WE got Henrique, Perry, Stech, Carrick, I'm good. If only we saw Stecher in lineup a bit. Mind you for this series not sure if its the greatest idea. Ceci seem a bit better lately.
Ceci has stepped up his game at the perfect time. We need him and Nurse to play their absolute best.

GMs tried to get it pulled after Tbay abused it a few years ago.

NHL said it's a CBA issue, won't be looked at or changed, and therefore is within the rules.

I've had the suggestion before: if they don't want a cap for practical reasons (as it can be near impossible to get compliant in some scenarios) and so make it that the cap at least applies to your dressed lineup. So a scratched player would be off your cap in playoffs.

He has so much time and empty net he stops it up first to make sure and then misses net from 3ft. Like really...Don't take up golf anytime son...You can't putt into a hockey goal.
That happened at speed and wasn't as easy as a tap in. That said, he should've potted that.

I'm sure they could appease the cba somehow if it was a big enough eyesore.

That doesnt work.

Because then the teams that fairly accrue space and spend at the deadline would be considered over.

K Period 2. Don’t let your foot off the gas. Put them away. Stay smart and don’t give ‘em anything easy.
